High Volume Virtual Impactor Overview

The Model 340 HVVI is a high volume virtual impactor classifier for size separation of aerosol particles. The 1130 L/min (40 cfm) version has a cut-point diameter of 2.5 µm. The 300 L/min version has available cut-point diameters of 2.5 and 1.0 µm. The device can be used to obtain size-fractionated aerosol samples for air pollution research and for industrial applications.
